A Little Squirrely

Dad and Cowboy

Once our "hundred or so" cats faded away from the Johnson backyard, the space was quickly occupied by a horde of friendly and hungry squirrels ready for a handout. These little guys have showed no fear when it comes to their newest best friends. Dad can feed them right out of his hand and they seem ever so grateful. When dad and mom are away for one of their many vacations, the squirrels anxiously await their return and happily greet them. Especially "Cowboy" who is bowlegged and really a girl! We always suspected that dad was a little "squirrelly," but his affinity with the squirrels of the Johnson backyard proves it!!
