Our family loves family reunions in McCall, Idaho. Just being together in such a beautiful setting is wonderful for us all.

Silver Pig rafting trips!! Grandpa's tradition of taking us all down the river is the highlight of our trips to McCall. We have been on dangerous fast water trips, beautiful calm outings, and times when we have had to carry our canoes down the river. Thanks, Dad, for the memories!!







The Silver Pig is always the highlight of our trips to McCall! Canoes, kayaks, muddy banks, swift currents, occasional sunburn, me and Kevin always LOVED these trips! Thanks for the special treat dad!

Ahh, the hot Springs. Dad got us really out into nature with a dip in the Burgdorf Hot Springs right out of the mountain. We especially enjoyed soaking in the porcelain bathtub surrounded by wildflowers and changing in the dressing room where you could peak out through the cracks in the wall to see what other wildlife may be lurking around!

The Year of the Cow Hats

Look at the cow hats at this family reunion. Dad got them for all of us and we wore them all over town!! MOOOOOO!!

The pool! Totally fun and refreshing for everyone!!! We love Aspen pools!

The Johnson Clan are all FISH! It seems that from the very beginning starting with the pool at the Racquet and Swim Club and ending at every family vacation we have ever been on, the central point of the trip has somehow been water! Dad started us early holding us on the pool and slowly beginning to spin in a circle, "Motorboat, Motorboat, go so slow." He would speed up as we would get excited with anticipation, "Motorboat, Motorboat, go so fast." Finally he would spin wildly around as we would squeal, "Motorboat, Motorboat, step on the gas!"

McCall in the summer is a favorite reunion spot thanks to Grandpa who started bringing all of us up there to enjoy the beautiful mountains, lakes, tennis courts, etc. many, many years ago. We all love McCall!!!
